Dama - Brand Identity and Packaging Concept
Project Goal: To create a sophisticated and modern brand identity for "Dama," a new cosmetic line specializing in professional-grade makeup brushes. The objective was to design a brand that communicates elegance, quality, and a focus on achieving a flawless finish, appealing to both professional makeup artists and everyday consumers.
Challenge:
The client needed a brand identity that was clean and minimalist, yet memorable and luxurious. The design had to effectively communicate the brand's core promise—the secret to a flawless finish—while standing out in a crowded and visually saturated beauty market.

My responsibilities included:
Developing the primary logotype and a memorable brand slogan.
Establishing a refined and elegant color scheme for branding and packaging.
Conceptualizing and designing the product presentation, including visual mockups of the brushes.
Ensuring the brand's visual language was cohesive and could be applied across various marketing materials and product lines.
Process:
Discovery & Market Analysis: Conducted research on current beauty industry trends and branding, focusing on luxury and professional cosmetic brands. The goal was to identify opportunities for Dama to stand out while maintaining a timeless and elegant feel.
Logotype & Slogan Development:
Explored various font pairings and typographic treatments. The final logotype was chosen for its clean lines, modern feel, and legibility. The slogan, "The Secret to a Flawless Finish," was developed to be concise, aspirational, and directly tied to the brand's value proposition.
Color Palette Creation:
Established a color scheme that is soft, feminine, and sophisticated. The palette includes a light lavender (#c5d0e2), a deeper mauve (#8f6a97), and a deep navy/charcoal (#1e2531) to provide contrast and a sense of premium quality.
Visual Presentation & Mockups:
Created mockups of the brushes and packaging to showcase the brand's aesthetic in a realistic context. The brushes were photographed against a softly-lit, cloud-like background to reinforce the idea of a flawless, ethereal finish. The overall composition was designed to feel airy and professional.
Refinement:
Iterated on the color balance and logo placement to ensure the final design was harmonious and visually appealing. The goal was to create a brand that felt both established and fresh.
